100% Design creative 2009

Fuwagardner - the creative agency I run with Junko Fuwa - has been working with The Neighbourhood on this year's marketing imagery for 100% Design. The result is a hybrid photo/CGI image that communicates the creative inspiration provided by a visit to the show. We're now busy working with the image for a wide range of marketing materials including tickets, magazine adverts and direct mails.

Apologies for the delay

Jaywick, Essex

For anyone who regularly tunes into my blog, sorry for not having posted for ages. I've been really busy working on a major project about seaside regeneration for CABE and its partners, including English Heritage and the DCMS. That's not to mention loads of work with 100% Design. I'll start uploading recent work as soon as possible!

Project Orange house in Clerkenwell, London

Some of my images of a new-build house (which also includes a number of apartments in an adjacent refurbished block) in Clerkenwell. Designed by Project Orange, the house features shingle cladding and a huge central living/dining/work space.

Lucky Voice in Islington

I've recently been commissioned by karaoke venues Lucky Voice. Not for my harmonious singing, mind you. But to shoot their latest outpost, on Upper Street in Islington. Designed by architects Waugh Thistleton, it features a huge bar area and even a karaoke room with glitter ball! Needless to say, I did feel tempted to belt out a few numbers while taking the shots...

Napp offices, Cambridge, by Breathe Interiors

Some pictures of the colourful new offices of pharmaceutical company Napp, based in Cambridge. Nature-inspired graphics and a rich palette of materials and textures help to create a calm and spacious interior.

Langland offices, Windsor, by Jump Studios

A few of my shots of the amazing offices of medical advertising agency Langland, designed by Jump Studios. Not what you'd expect for stuffy old Windsor, eh? I particularly like the white-tiled spine that runs through the offices, which contains everything from integral seats to a library and meeting rooms.
Other key elements include an atmospheric meeting/conference space inspired by a gentleman's club, and a funky staff kitchen and games room.
